Our last Girl Scout meeting this year is in just a week (June 14), and Betsi asked me to help coordinate getting a gift for Karen and Heidi.

I'd like to get each of them a Target gift card. Because we don't have a meeting in between now and next Monday, I've set up this "ChipIn" page so that I can collect your contributions online so that I can collect your donation before this weekend when I will run up to Target to buy them the gift cards

If everyone can contribute at least $20 or $25 ASAP, but please no later than THIS FRIDAY 6/11, we should have enough to buy EACH of them a $100 gift card. Please contribute whatever you can afford (the site will only publicly tally up the aggregate amount raised and number of donors, it won't publish who exactly gave what).

You can contribute online with a regular credit card or with paypal. Given the short time window and our busy schedules, I've decided to go this route rather than attempt to collect the donations by hand, and I will cover any transaction fees (as well as contribute on our family's behalf) so that all of your donations will go towards their gifts.
